Background
- For India , it is going to definitely take more than a month even to start.
- And then, it is going to take at least a couple of years to come back to at least 50% of what we were.
- And that depends on how many airlines survive.
If you recall the previous instance of 9/11 and what happened subsequent to that, it took a lot of time for the aviation industry to come back.
Why Aviation sector's future is bleak
- Another thing that had come out is that in this lockdown conditio, a lot of people have found alternative means of working, especially with video-conferencing.
- Whether it is aviation, or all travel-related, tourism-related industries, it is going to be in a shambles for the next two years.
- You are going to have more and more people online because they don't want to stuck somewhere.
- It's not a question of only restrictions, visas not being allowed, travel not being allowed, airlines not being allowed.
Even after all these allowed,
there will be apprehension.

Some suggestion
- We can do it is to move slowly, understand were the flight are essential and move from fixing the schedule based on Delhi-centric focus and politicians.
- You must understand that it is the public which makes the airline and not the freeloaders.
